• The Road of Fathers begins the journey of Tyrian Fellhawk from his childhood in the Great River Forest, as a woodcutting apprentice, to the majestic halls of King Azjik's House of Knights

In the commerce of the Great River Forest, the Fellhawk clan ran the wood trade. The older uncles felled the trees, the young men split the wood, and the youngest boys stacked it. Tyrian was a splitter, and he was probably the hardest worker of all of the boys his age. Where most boys worked in teams, he was more comfortable by himself, accompanied of course by his counterpart, Wolf.
